If you are in business for yourself,
you can protect the " name" of your business, as well as "add prestige" to
your business by applying for a U.S. Trademark. If you have ever written a
song, book, or play... you can also protect "them" by applying for a U.S.
Copyright. If you have ever thought of a great new/improved product, and
dreamed of becoming an Inventor... you can also do "that" by applying for a
U.S. Patent. With the use of this book, ALL of these things are possible...
and easier than you think. This book is a complete, do-it-yourself
inventors kit that not only informs you about U.S. Patents, Trademarks,
and Copyrights...but also includes "blank" forms, line-by-line directions,
sample drawings, "original" illustrations, costs and service fees,
help-lines, and More! For your convenience, these blank forms "can" be
re-copied... either manually using a typewriter, or mechanically reproduced
using a copy machine, as long as they are clear, crisp, quality copies.
Obtaining a copyright and/or a
trademark is not that difficult, especially if you have the right forms.
However, protecting your idea by patenting is a different story, especially
if starting from scratch. Many questions will arise, such as: What is a
patent - What "can" and "can't" be patented - How is a patent obtained -
What forms must be filled out - Where do I get these forms - Who do I write
to and what is the address - Can forms be ordered over the telephone - If
so, how do I get the phone number - Is there a toll-free number! - How much
does a patent cost - How long will it take - etc. , etc. All of these
questions and many, many more are answered in this book. Although there are
a couple of other books on inventing, I have not seen a more "complete" and
"current" inventors kit available for the inventor wishing to bypass the
services of a patent company.
With the aid of this book, obtaining
patents, trademarks, and copyrights without the use of any professional help
is very feasible. The "homework" has already been done. By having this book,
you'll save yourself many years of research, a lot of money, and numerous
headaches! All that's needed now is your ideas, your effort, and a little
patience. The most important thing is to "get started" and "stick with it",
and with this book you can do just that!
